Donate to the Baby Corner

Baby Corner are donated to Family Services and goods are free to families in shelters or transitional housing, and families who have recently gained permanent housing. Opened in 1995, Family Services is one of the few sources of free diapers for hundreds of homeless families living in King County. Family Services serves hundreds of local families with very young children every year.

Urgent Needs

  • Car Seats (must be no more than 5 years old)
  • Clothing sizes 5T - Teens
  • Disposable diapers and pull-ups
  • New socks & underwear sizes kids - teens
  • Infant formula and baby food (especially Similac or Kirkland Brand)
  • New Shoes - kids- teens
  • School Supplies:
  • Backpacks
  • 3-ring binders & tabs
  • Pens (red, black, blue)
  • Crayons, Markers & Colored Pencils
  • Pencils (regular & mechanical)
  • Highlighters
  • Calculators
  • Scissors (small, med, large)
  • College-ruled paper
  • Composition books
  •  Subject notebooks
  • Index cards

Ongoing Needs

  • Maternity clothing (small - XXLarge) and nursing gear
  • Bottles, sippy cups, and pacifiers
  • Blankets and bedding 
  • Bassinets
  • Baby toys: especially activity gyms, saucers, activity blankets, toddler walking and riding toys & any learning toys
  • New, Multi-Cultural toys and books
  • Parenting books
  • Baby Wipes
  • Personal care products: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc
  • Pj's sizes 4T , 5T, 6-7, 8-10

Bring your donations to Mass with you and put them in or near the baby corner crib or during the week, you may drop of your donations to the parish office, M-F, 8am-4pm.

Want to Help

Drivers are scheduled on a monthly basis to pick up the donations at the parish and drive them to Family Services. Family Services is located just south of I-90 off of Rainier Ave S. Please contact our Baby Corner Coordinator, Lynn O’Connor for additional information.
