Assumption Parish will begin sacramental preparation classes for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist beginning this September. Assumption children in the second grade, or older, are invited to prepare with us for the first of these life-long Sacraments. Julie Baricevic and Carolyn Breysse will be facilitating these sacramental programs.

If your child is not enrolled at ASB school, they need to be enrolled in our Sunday RE classes here at Assumption. Please contact Ellen Bollard at Bollardeg@aol.com.

Please complete the registration form and send a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate to the parish office prior toSeptember 11, 2011. Please send a $75 check to help cover expenses for resources and supplies for both Sacraments. Please make checks payable to Assumption Parish and note that it is for sacramental prep.. If you do not have a copy of your child's baptismal certivicate, please contact the church where your child received the Sacrament of Baptism and request a copy to be sent directly to the parish office. (6201 33rd Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115). You may also have a copy faxed to (206) 522-6308. If your child was baptized here at Assumption Parish we have the record on file, please note the information on the registration form.

This is a very important time for you to be involved in the sacramental development of your child. We ask you to please make arrangements for other children in your care for these evenings.
