The moms group is for all moms in the parish regardless of the age of your children. We are planning activities for the summer and starting in September, will meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00PM.

Our daytime group will gather again in the fall. We are in need of someone to volunteer to lead this group.

WHO: The moms group is open to all moms in the parish regardless of the age of their children.

WHAT: Moms Group is a social and spiritual group for moms in the parish, that offers support and community. The group provides opportunities for families to volunteer for and participate in parish activities. We welcome new families to the parish by giving them an opportunity to get to know existing parishioners with similar interests.

WHEN: The group meets regularly on the second Wednesday of the month from September to May at 7:00PM. We will be meeting in the Guadaloupe Room in the basement of the church this fall. Even if you can only attend meetings or events occasionally we would love to have you as part of the group.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: Send your contact information to us at assumptionmoms@gmail.com and begin to receive emails about our events. We are always looking for more moms to join the leadership committee and/or organize activities for the group, please let us know if you have time to help!

Children's Collection at Masses

Currently the parish has a basket in the front of the church on the altar. Children are invited to bring up their own donations at each mass. These funds are currently being used to match diaper donations for St. Mary's Food Bank. St. Mary's provides diapers and other items such as baby food and formula the first weekend of every month. Families at Assumption are encouraged to drop off new packages of diapers and partial packages of diapers that the babies have outgrown the size.   The mom's group matches these diapers and delivers them to St. Mary's.
