Boy Scouts - Troup 171
Scouts
We are a Boy Scout Troop chartered by Assumption Parish in Seattle, Washington.
We welcome new members. You do not have to be a member of the Assumption parish to join.

Why Boy Scouts?
Because its fun!
- Cook over an open fire,
- Learn first aid skills
- Use a map and compass
- Use a knife and axe carefully
- Become a stronger citizen and a stronger person
- Serve your community and family.
- Camp, fish, hike, and swim
Each Scout has the opportunity to learn new and exciting skills that will make him a better woodsman, scholar, athlete, and leader. Boys ages 11-18 are welcome to join Boy Scouts. Younger boys can participate in Cub Scout Pack 171 and eventually move up to Boy Scouts.
For information on Cub Scouts please email Diana Abson.

Boy Scouts have weekly meetings on Monday, from 7:30-8:30, at the FAFC of Assumption St. Bridget School. We do not have meetings in the summer months. The address for Assumption St. Bridget (ASB) school is 6220 32nd Avenue NE Seattle, WA 98115.
At the meetings, we work on finishing merit badges, learning skills that will help us in upcoming scouting events, plan for upcoming camp outs, or plan meetings for the rest of the year.
Monthly activities are included such as camping, climbing, winter sports, bicycling, and bowling.
