The adult social group is for any adult wishing to participate... Events are held several times a year and include dinner and some form of entertainment , usually during the week. Bingo, Sing-a-longs, Christmas parties are just some of the events of the past year. Watch for the next event in the Sunday bulletin. 

 

 

Bowling

Our Womens Bowling League is now in it's 50th year. Starting in 1960 they have played together, sharing the joys and sorrows of life, making new friends and having fun. We currently meet at 9:30am on Monday mornings at Kenmore Lanes from September through April. All are welcome to participate..subtitues are welcome as well. Scores are not important this group is all about community and fun!

Pinochle

The pinochle marathon was started around 1973 with perhaps 13 or 14 couples. How it works is that from September until the last of April, each couple has to play every other couple once during the season, setting up the times to play at their discretion. We currently have six couples which means that we play five games during the season. We collect small fees for the games and the Altar Society gets one/fifth of the fees with the rest going to the first and second highest scores. We are always looking for new couples and men are not excluded if they can put up with us women!!
